This Modicon MCM safe speed monitoring module has 2 Sin/Cos encoder inputs (with RJ45 connectors) and 2 proximity sensor inputs (connection via terminal) and is fitted with captive screw clamp terminals. It is designed to monitor zero speed control, max speed (limited speed), speed range and direction. It has a rated supply voltage of 24V DC. It offers up to four logically selectable limited speed thresholds (freely configurable via SoSafe Configurable software) for each logical intput (axis), and a maximum input frequency of 500kHz (for encoders) and 5kHz for proximity sensors.
