AC Charging Cables

The CHARX connect mode 3 charging cables are suitable for the AC charging of electric vehicles. They achieve charging powers of up to 22 kW and are available with type 1 and type 2 connectors as well as GB/T standard. In addition to cables for fixed installation on charging stations or home chargers, we also provide mobile charging cables that can be stored in the electric car.

AC Charging Controllers

The CHARX control modular AC charging controllers are the centrepiece of an intelligent and sustainable charging infrastructure for mode 3 electric vehicle charging. With their open Linux platform, they are ready for IoT applications, smart services, and sector coupling. The scalable portfolio covers all charging applications – from home chargers to parking garages.

AC charging sockets

The type 2 CHARX connect modular charging sockets are mounted in AC charging stations and home charging stations and enable the AC charging of electric vehicles via mobile AC charging cables with charging powers of up to 22 kW. With our modular system, the design and scope of functions can be individually adapted to your requirements.

DC Charging cables

The CHARX connect DC charging cables are used for fast DC electric vehicle charging. In addition to type 1 and type 2 CCS charging connectors, we also provide the GB/T standard for China. Our portfolio is split up into different performance classes and thus offers the right charging cable for every application – from DC home chargers to HPC charging parks

DC charging controllers

The freely programmable CHARX control professional and CHARX control integrated DC charging controllers provide the intelligence for modern charging stations for mode 4 fast charging in accordance with IEC 61851-23. They communicate with the electric vehicle, monitor the charging process, control parameters such as the charging current, and handle additional tasks as an option.

DC power electronics & power distribution

The highly efficient CHARX power modules and the CHARX power distribute distribution module enable the cost-effective operation of your DC charging infrastructure. The modular 19″ system enables scalable charging power through to High Power Charging (HPC) and significantly simplifies the setup and maintenance of your fast charging stations.

Surge protection

With CHARX protect, you can protect charging stations and electric cars against damage from surge voltage caused by lightning strikes or switching operations in the grid. We can provide you with various protective device types for a comprehensive protection concept to ensure that your charging infrastructure remains available at all times – at any time of the day or night, and in any weather.

Vehicle charging controllers

CHARX control vehicle is a stand-alone vehicle charging controller (EVCC) that enables DC charging via CCS charging inlets. The controller handles high-level communication (TCP/IP) via Powerline (PLC) between the DC charging station and the electric vehicle. It controls the locking actuator, temperature sensors and optional LED status indicator, start/stop function, and HV contactors.

Vehicle charging inlets

The CHARX connect universal vehicle charging inlets enable the AC and DC charging of all types of electric vehicles. Along with type 1 and type 2 AC and CCS (Combined Charging System) charging inlets, GB/T versions are also available for China. The vehicle charging inlets are already being used successfully in electric cars from well-known manufacturers and in all kinds of utility vehicles. They allow electric vehicles to be charged continuously with a charging power of 250 kW, and even up to 500 kW in Boost Mode.
