The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors. These sensors enable the detection, without physical contact, of metal objects. This general purpose inductive proximity sensor supports 2.5mm nominal sensing distance, 1 normally open and 1 normally close discrete PNP outputs. This cylindrical sensor, long case model, is flush mountable and features a 2 meter long PvR cable. It has a cylindrical Ø 8mm case, threaded M8 x 1, allowing for greater machine miniaturization. It is a 4-wire DC sensor, 12V to 48V rated supply voltage with protection against reverse polarity. It is furnished with a 2m cable for electrical connection, and 1 yellow LED for output state indication. It is an IP65, IP68 double insulation and IP69K rated product, operating in temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. The case is made of stainless steel, grade 303. Its dimensions are 51mm (length) x 8mm (diameter) and weighs 0.035kg. Its range of applications are very extensive and includes monitoring the position of machine parts (cams, end stops, etc.) and counting the number of metal objects, etc. This product is certified by UL, CSA and CE. A fixing clamp XSZB108, intended for the diameter 8mm sensors, can be purchased separately. The minimum mounting distances between sensors are 5mm for a side by side mounting and 30mm for a face to face mounting.
