AJ Hurst as part of our ongoing customer service improvements have recently partnered with local company Connect Telecom to update and our telecoms system.
As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of electrical, lighting, communication and power system equipment, the Belfast company relies heavily on its telecoms and IT. Mark Goldsbrough, Sales Director at AJ Hurst, said:
“Unfortunately after moving premises several years ago, our telecoms systems, which were through another provider, were no longer fit for purpose.”
We engaged with the team at Connect Telecom and were really impressed, so made the switch to Vodafone for our broadband and all mobiles and fixed lines. The process only took one day and was seamless, with not even one call missed.
“Within days of installation we really noticed an increase in the ef ciency of the business. As a company, we were able to provide answers and solutions to customers quicker than ever before. Those time savings alone are hugely bene cial to the company, but for us what is most significant is the increased level of customer service we will now be able to provide to our customers.”
“Moving forward, the advantages will set us aside from the competition and allow us to be an even better company. The process with Connect was really straight forward and the results have been so obvious, we’re excited to continue the partnership.”
“The new VoIP system gives us the flexibility to process our high volume of calls more efficiently, our sales engineers have to spend time out with clients or on site as well as manage incoming customer queries. The ability for our switchboard operators to be able to forward calls to sales engineers through an internal short code dial system means our clients are not having to wait for lengthy periods to receive call backs. Other function like single desk/mobile mailboxes and conference calling between staff and clients has been invaluable.” The full Ulster Business magazine article on AJ Hurst’s partnership with Connect Telecom can be downloaded below.
