This product is part of the XT range, an offer of capacitive proximity sensors. This capacitive proximity sensor has a cylindrical threaded M18 design and a fixed body. It is flush mountable and has a frontal detection face. It has 1 NO/NC PNP discrete output and supports 5mm nominal sensing distance. This capacitive proximity 4-wire sensor has a rated supply voltage of 12V to 24V DC, with reverse polarity protection and no load current consumption of <15mA. It is furnished with a M12 connector for electrical connection. This sensor operates in an ambiant air temperature from -25°C to +70°C. It is an IP65/IP67 rated product. The enclosure is made of nickel copper alloy. The length of this M18 sensor is 85mm. It weighs 0.075kg It is suitable for packaging, material handling/conveying/logistics, material working/machine tools, robotics, food and beverage industries This product is certified by CE, UKCA and cULus. It is supplied with 2 nuts for an easy mounting. XT capacitive proximity sensors come in flush and non-flush versions M12, M18, M30, D32 and D34 cylindrical forms. XT sensors are dedicated to non contact sensing of objects in any material up to 20mm. They are designed for use in industrial applications relating to presence detection.
