We’re seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales, equipped with the skills to identify new business opportunities and spearhead growth within our existing portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive sales growth by developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships within your designated geographical area.
  2. Build trust and foster strong, lasting relationships with customers, manufacturers, and colleagues, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties.
  3. Use a consultative sales approach, offering tailored solutions to help customers address their industrial control and automation challenges.
  4. Manage a balanced focus on prospecting for new business while strengthening connections and touchpoints within your existing account portfolio.
  5. Maintain a regular presence at the AJ Hurst office, staying engaged with the local market and team.
  6. Support marketing initiatives, including campaigns and promotions, to boost awareness of product launches, events, and competitions.
  7. Dedicate yourself to continuous learning and development, both in technical and non-technical areas, to enhance your expertise.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  1. Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the industrial distribution sector.
  2. Proven ability to drive sales growth through new and existing accounts and partnerships.
  3. Understanding of the dynamics between manufacturers, distributors, and customers.
  4. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
  5. Customer-focused, adept at identifying challenges and providing tailored solutions.
  6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  7. Eagerness to expand knowledge across industrial control and automation products.
  8. Experience with CRM systems and generating sales reports.
